Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MorrowPoise Content Manager (“the Application,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when the owner of MorrowPoise uses the Application to manage and publish owned product content. The Application is a private, single-user desktop tool and is not offered as a public consumer service.

1. Scope and contact

This policy applies to the Application and the website at morrowpoise.xyz. Questions, privacy requests and deletion requests may be sent to hezhi2014@gmail.com.

2. Information the Application processes

Depending on the permissions authorized through Pinterest OAuth, the Application may process:

  • Pinterest account identifiers and basic account information made available by the Pinterest API;
  • Board information needed to select a destination board;
  • Pin information needed to create, read and track Pins published by the authorized account;
  • OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiration information and authorized scopes;
  • Product images, titles, descriptions, tags, Etsy destination URLs and scheduling preferences supplied locally by the owner; and
  • Operational records such as publishing status, Pinterest Pin identifiers, timestamps and error messages.

The Application does not collect Pinterest passwords, browser cookies or Pinterest session credentials.

3. How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the authorized owner, display relevant boards and Pins, create and schedule Pins for the owner’s products, link Pins to the owner’s Etsy listings, record publishing results, prevent duplicate publishing, diagnose errors and maintain the security of the Application.

4. Pinterest API and authorization

The Application uses Pinterest OAuth 2.0 and official Pinterest API endpoints. Access is limited to the permissions approved by Pinterest and explicitly authorized by the account owner. Authorization may be revoked through the owner’s Pinterest account settings. Revocation prevents future API access but does not automatically delete local records already stored by the owner.

5. Local storage and security

Application data is stored locally on a Windows computer controlled by the owner of MorrowPoise. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. The Application’s local management interface is bound to the local computer and is not intentionally exposed to the public internet. Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect stored data, but no method of storage is completely secure.

6. Sharing, sale and redistribution

We do not sell, rent, license or trade personal information. We do not sell, resell or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties. Information is transmitted to Pinterest only as necessary to use the authorized API functions. Etsy destination links and product content are transmitted as part of the owner-directed Pin publishing process.

7. Service providers and third-party services

The Application interacts with Pinterest to authorize the owner and perform API requests. Published Pins may link to Etsy listings selected by the owner. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. This website may be delivered by a static website hosting provider that receives standard technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, for security and delivery purposes.

8. Retention and deletion

Local application records are retained until the owner deletes them or they are no longer required for the publishing workflow. The owner can delete locally stored product data, publishing records, exported files and authorization information from the computer. The owner may also revoke Pinterest authorization through Pinterest. Requests concerning this website or assistance with deletion may be sent to hezhi2014@gmail.com.

9. Children’s privacy

The Application is a private business utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the Application, its data practices or applicable platform requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.

MorrowPoise Content Manager is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Pinterest. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc. References to Pinterest describe interoperability with the Pinterest API only.
